On January 27th, YG Entertainment said that ‘FANTASTIC BABY’ music video hit over 200 million views on YouTube at the afternoon of January 26th.
The number of views for ‘FANTASTIC BABY’ on YouTube was 200,163,923 at 2pm of January 27th.
‘FANTASTIC BABY’ which is a song from BIGBANG’s 5th mini album ‘ALIVE’ has been a global hot issue since it was posted on YouTube on March 6th in 2012.
It went over 100 million views on March 27th, 2014 and 200 million after one year and 10 months. PSY and BIGBANG are the only K-pop singers who went over 200 million views on YouTube.
On January 19th, BIGBANG’s ‘BANG BANG BANG’ music video went over 100 million views on YouTube. So, BIGBANG became the only Korean male group team that has 2 music videos which went over 100 million views.
By the way, singer PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ music video recently became a hot issue by hitting 2.5 billion views.
